Skin to Skin !

I miss the days as a child where I didn’t have to worry about skin care and just had flawless skin. I was always grateful that I had nice skin and always received compliments, but near grade 8 it just went downhill and it has been love hate relationship since then. Earlier this year (around March) my skin took a turn for the worst. I mean breakouts with pimples, leaving huge scars and all. I was so self-conscious about my skin I would literally think I was ugly without makeup. The weird thing was I still didn’t wear makeup, only if I was going out to an event or dinner. Long story short I had enough and one day scrolling through Instagram I came across a skin care page @verasradiance. I slid in their DMs to get some help. Janine was so nice and honestly saved my skin. She got my breakouts under control within 2 months of listening to her advice. She recommended a few products and a routine to follow. I followed it for about 2-3 months. Not only does Janine provide amazing skin care advice but she also has really good shea butter. I have always used shea butter as my body lotion and I only use pure shea butter. Listen, I know it smells but I have no shame because it does wonders for my skin, besides, I only put it at night (But back to Janine’s product). Since, I only use shea butter I decided to try out her shea butter and let me tell you it’s literally butter on my skin. At the time I had a sun rash and within one week, no lie it helped my rash. As, it’s mixed with other natural products it doesn’t have strong smell which is good.  Janine is definitely my Skin guru when I need advice. Definitely, reach out to Janine for any skin advice and purchase her shea butter it’s amazing.

My skin is now back to normal and I have a new skin routine that has been working. I have been using Innisfree products and it has been working wonders on my face. I use the green tea line and I follow the Korean skin care routine. This has been working for me without any breakouts except when it’s close to the time of month (ladies you know what I’m talking about). I do have to order this online and it gets a bit pricey as I pay shipping plus customs, but I feel it’s worth it. Below is the Korean routine I use. Also, Let me know if you give it try:

Step 2: Toner
